Build the full system well, then shape the final experience with equal care.
Ali Arsalan / Islamabad, Pakistan
Software Engineer
I build complete digital products across web, desktop, games, AI workflows, and experimental hardware, combining technical problem-solving with thoughtful user experiences.
My work ranges from organizational platforms and production websites to psychological horror games, multiplayer systems, AI document tools, and connected-device experiments.
I'm Ali Arsalan, a software engineering student and working developer based in Islamabad. I enjoy building systems that connect technical depth with a usable final product, from internal tools and production websites to desktop software and game systems.
I currently lead IT and digital development work at the Pak Institute of Peace Studies while also directing technical and product development for APRO. Under Zeynox Studios, I'm also developing Whispers of the Book, a psychological horror game being prepared for Steam.
Platforms, production websites, game systems, AI workflows, and technical operations.
Grounded engineering with a future-facing studio sensibility under Zeynox Studios.
About
Built around full-lifecycle problem solving.
The breadth matters, but the central theme matters more: understand the complete problem, design the right structure, ship it, support it, and keep improving the experience in the real world.
I am a software engineering student and working developer based in Islamabad. I enjoy building systems that connect technical depth with a usable final product. My experience includes full-stack applications, organizational IT infrastructure, cloud deployment, WordPress platforms, desktop software, game systems, AI-assisted tools, and hardware prototypes.
I currently lead IT and digital development work at the Pak Institute of Peace Studies while also directing technical and product development for APRO. Alongside professional work, I am developing Whispers of the Book, a first-person psychological horror game being prepared for release on Steam under the Zeynox Studios identity.
I am most interested in projects where I can understand the complete problem, design the underlying system, implement it, troubleshoot it in production, and improve the experience based on real use.
Software Engineer
Ali builds complete digital systems, from the underlying technical architecture to the final user experience.
The identity around personal projects, future game releases, experiments, and independent creative technology work.
Selected Work
Selected work across platforms, games, AI, and operations.
A mix of product engineering, game development, organizational systems, and applied AI work, with each featured project linked to a dedicated case study.
Additional Projects
Production support, migrations, prototypes, and experiments.
This layer adds range without losing focus: internal platforms, large migration work, multiplayer exploration, survival systems, and hardware experiments that continue feeding the bigger engineering picture.
Experience
Practical responsibility across platforms and operations.
The roles here are less about labels and more about ownership: maintaining production systems, supporting people, shipping products, and making technical decisions that hold up outside of ideal conditions.
Technical Capabilities
Grouped by how the work actually happens.
The goal here is practical clarity, not inflated mastery claims. These are the toolsets and capability areas that show up repeatedly across current work and ongoing experiments.
Education
Academic foundation, shaped by live deployment work.
Formal software engineering study continues in parallel with hands-on production responsibility, which helps keep both the theory and the implementation side grounded.
Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering
2022 - 2026
Learning while maintaining real systems.
Coursework informs the fundamentals, while current work adds the pressure and discipline of production troubleshooting, deployment decisions, digital operations, and user-facing system maintenance.
Beyond Software
Community, creativity, and studio instincts.
The work is technical, but the broader creative and community side matters too. It shapes product judgment, atmosphere, collaboration, and long-term direction.
Ali helps organize SkatePakistan, a nonprofit skateboarding community. The work includes supporting free community sessions, moderation and communication, and helping plan skating activities and events in Islamabad, including Go Skate Day-related efforts.
Creative interests include guitar, audio recording and production, video editing, graphic design, game atmosphere and sound, and hardware experimentation that continues to influence both Zeynox Studios and broader technical exploration.
